LEM Current Sensor Distributor | Closed-Loop and Open-Loop Hall
Genuine LEM closed-loop and open-loop Hall current transducers for drives, solar, battery and power-supply current measurement.
LEM Current Sensors Overview
BeiLuo supplies genuine LEM current transducers that measure DC, AC and pulsed current with galvanic isolation between the primary conductor and the low-voltage secondary circuit. LEM's portfolio spans closed-loop (compensated) Hall sensors and open-loop Hall sensors, from compact PCB modules such as the LA and LTS families to panel-mount industrial types such as the HAS series and the widely used HLSR open-loop range. A closed-loop transducer drives a secondary current that exactly balances the primary ampere-turns, so it offers high accuracy, low offset drift and a fast response, which suits motor drives, servo inverters and precision power measurement. An open-loop transducer measures the magnetic field produced by the primary current directly, so it is smaller, lower cost and needs less power, making it ideal for solar inverters, power supplies and battery monitoring where moderate accuracy is enough. Every LEM current sensor provides galvanic isolation, so control electronics stay protected from high common-mode voltages, and many models offer a voltage or current output that interfaces directly with an MCU ADC. BeiLuo keeps fast-moving LEM current transducer models in regional stock, ships them with import declaration, certificate of origin and RoHS documents, and supports selection, primary-conductor sizing, isolation planning and PCB layout with an in-house FAE team. Whether you need a 50 A closed-loop module for a three-phase drive or a compact 20 A open-loop sensor for a solar boost stage, our engineers help you match nominal current, measuring range and mounting to the job.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I read the LEM current sensor table?
Technology tells you whether the part is closed-loop or open-loop, Nominal Current sets the design current, and Measuring Range shows the usable span including overload. Supply, Mounting and Temperature confirm the electrical and mechanical fit.
Filter by the two or three parameters that cannot change for your design, then compare the remaining rows.
Closed-loop or open-loop: which should I choose?
Choose closed-loop for high accuracy, low offset drift and fast response, as in field-oriented motor control and precision measurement. Choose open-loop for smaller size, lower cost and lower power, as in solar inverters and general power supplies where moderate accuracy is enough.
Decide by accuracy budget first, then by size and cost.
How do I size the measuring range for a motor drive?
Set the nominal current to the rated phase current and confirm the measuring range covers the peak, typically 1.5 to 2 times rated for overload. Check the range at your supply voltage, because some models narrow the span at low supply.
Our FAE team can confirm the range against your drive profile.
What does the supply voltage tell me?
A single +5 V supply suits modern low-voltage control boards and simplifies the interface, while a bipolar ±12 to ±15 V supply is common for high-accuracy closed-loop models. Match the supply to your existing control rails before you commit.
The table shows the supply for each model.
Are the current sensors genuine and documented?
Every LEM transducer BeiLuo ships is factory-traceable and includes an import declaration, a certificate of origin and a RoHS compliance file. Mainstream models are held in regional warehouses.
